Journal of Precision Medicine was renamed from Qilu Medical Journal in July 2017. It is the first professional academic journal of precision medicine approved in China. The journal is sponsored by Qingdao University and the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University and published in China and overseas (ISSN 2096-529X；CN 37-1515/R).
The aim of the journal is to publish the research progress, achievements and new technologies in precision medicine and to facilitate academic communications, industrial application and development of precision medicine. The journal’s Consultants are: Mr. YOU Suning, Vice President of Chinese Journal Association, former President and Chief Editor of the Chinese Medical Journal Association; and Professor WANG Xinsheng, from Medical School of Qingdao University and The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. Honorary Editors in Chief are Academician GE Junbo, Academician ZHAN Qimin, Academician ZHANG Yingze and Professor JIANG Hong, Vice President of Qingdao University. The Editor in Chief of the journal is Professor DONG Qian, President of Qingdao University Medical Group.
Journal of Precision Medicine focuses on the latest research progress in precision medicine at home and abroad, supports thought and technical innovation, and is committed to providing an academic communication platform for researchers to disseminate, share and discuss the latest research trends. The journal welcomes: perspective, original research article, review, expert forum, case report, special topic report, summary etc.
The journal has been included by Chemical Abstracts (CA) since 2022 and is now indexed by Chinese databases including China Science and Technology Core Journals (Expanded), China Medical Core Journals, China Science and Technology Journals Citation Source (Expanded), SinoMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data - Digital Journal Group and Weipu Information Network.
