1. How long does the review process take?

The review process generally takes about 2-4 months once a draft number is given. You can check the status in the Author Center. Please refer to Author Instructions for details on each step of reviewing.

2. Does the authors need to pay review fee after submitting the manuscript?

The journal does not charge for reviewing the manuscript.

3. When the paper is accepted but has not been published, can I apply for a certificate of acceptance?

After the publication fee is paid, a notice of acceptance will be sent to your email address which you registered in the submission system. In case you need an officially stamped letter, you can make a phone call to the editorial office (0532-82911108) to request for a pdf file of a stamped letter which will be sent to you via email.

4. What if the processing status doesn’t change for a long time?

If the processing status has not been changed for more than 2 months, you can contact the editorial office via telephone (0532-82911108). Please provide the draft number before making any inquiry.

5. How can I get a hard copy of the issue on which my paper has been published？ 

The editorial office will provide 2 copies of the current issue free of charge. The copies will be delivered via registered mail to the address provided in the submitting system 1-2 weeks after publication.

6. About publication fee

1) When do I need to pay the publication fee?

After the paper passes the reviewing process, a notice of payment will be sent to you via SMS and e-mail according to the information registered in the Author Center. Please log into the Author Center to check the status before paying.

2) How do I know the payment is successful？

The author can check the payment status in the Author Center. Generally, the status will be updated within 1 week of receiving the payment.

3) When and how can I get the invoice?

The invoice of the publication fee will be posted together with the hard copies of the journal to the address you provide in the Author Center after publication.

4) Is the invoice issued by Journal of Precision Medicine?

The sponsor of Journal of Precision Medicine is Qingdao University. The editorial office is not an independent legal entity and has no independent financial status. All invoices are chopped with the stamp of Qingdao University. If you need a statement of proof, please contact the editorial office at 0532-82911108.
